OVERVIEW

The company is arguably the largest chain of Multiplexes in S.India.

The requirement was to vastly improve an existing Closed Loop payment system to keep pace with the Group’s rapid growth plans.

BACKGROUND

The Multiplex chain is a pioneer in implementing state-of- the-art technology that hugely enhanced the average movie-goer’s experience. In many ways, the Group proved to be a game-changer in the business, which left competition way behind.

SOLUTION

A web enabled Payments Platform was integrated with the Mulitplex’s ticketing and F&B software. The platform allowed the organization to:

  • Securely generate and print prepaid cards
  • Create cards with multiple denominations and membership types
  • Sell the Prepaid Cards to Customers after due authentication and capturing of essential data
  • Create and sell Add-on Cards
  • Sell to Corporates with a process work-flow built into the software
  • Facilitate payment processing from multiple locations across cities
  • Allow spends, account recharge, refunds, cancellations etc.,
  • Provide access to customers via a Customer Portal connected to a Payment Gateway that allows them to recharge online
  • Allow online ticket booking payments to be made using Prepaid Cards
RESULT

The implementation of the Closed Loop Payment Platform has been a huge success for the organization and has since been expanded to other locations in cities in S.India. It remains popular with customers having a strong brand recall and since been emulated by few competitors as well.

A Leading Amusement Park & Resort
OVERVIEW

Part of a large, diversified Group, the organization runs a luxury resort attached to an amusement park that is one-of-a-kind and hugely popular with residents nearby and tourists alike.

BACKGROUND

The need was for implementing a Closed Loop Payment system for the organization that will allow all customers – tourists visiting the amusement park and guests staying at the resort – to use a single Prepaid Card for all payment transactions within several acre premises.

The management wanted to implement a convenient, hassle-free solution for all its customers.

SOLUTION

A Payments Platform hosted on the organization’s in-house server was implemented. The platform allowed the organization to:

  • Securely generate and print prepaid cards
  • Create cards with multiple denominations and membership types
  • Sell the Prepaid Cards to Customers after due authentication and capturing of essential data.
  • Facilitate payment processing from multiple PoS systems – restaurant, ticketing and resort’s front-office
  • Allow spends, account recharge, refunds, cancellations etc.,
  • Send instant alerts and notifications to customers and guests
  • Provide access to customers via a Customer Portal
  • Running of schemes and discount options
  • Creation of a cashless system resulting in saving large amounts of time and effort that went into cash settlement operations
RESULT

This was a pioneering effort by the organization and resulted in a tremendous and positive feedback from customers apart from providing convenience to users and customers alike
